Customer Information: Cali76 Stacked Compressor

New Cali76 Stacked Compressor. Tell me more…

We’re pleased to announce the release of the new Cali76 Stacked Compressor, which represents the latest evolution of our long-standing dual-stage compressor circuit. The Cali76 Stacked Compressor replaced both the Cali76 Stacked Edition and SlideRIG Compact Deluxe Mk2, and incorporates some refinements carried over from our recently released Cali76 FET Compressor and Cali76 Bass Compressor pedals.

We wanted to preserve the sound, character and feel of the now discontinued Cali76 Stacked Edition and SlideRIG Compact Deluxe Mk2, while implementing all the thing we had learnt when improving the other pedals in the Cali76 range. If you own a Cali76 Stacked Edition or SlideRIG Compact Deluxe Mk2, it is by no means obsolete. However, the new Cali76 Stacked Compressor has some features that many will consider an upgrade:

The new Cali76 Stacked Compressor is 17% smaller than their predecessors, with a footprint of 64mm x 124mm (2.5” x 4.8”).

The Cali76 Stacked compressor has significantly more headroom than the outgoing Cali76 Stacked Edition and SlideRIG Compact Deluxe Mk2, staying much cleaner even with extreme amounts of compression.

The Cali76 FET Compressor and Bass compressor increase power supply voltage internally. They take a 9V supply and boost it up to 24V, meaning you no longer need to use a higher voltage power supply to achieve maximum headroom.

If the Cali76 Stacked Edition and SlideRIG Compact Deluxe Mk2 are now discontinued, is mine still in warranty?

Yes! It doesn’t matter that these pedals are discontinued as far as warranties are concerned. All warranties will continue to be honoured for all pedals that are still within the warranty period. If you have a faulty pedal that is still in warranty, contact your dealer. Or, if you purchased it directly from Origin Effects, email support@origineffects.com.

I have a Cali76 Stacked Edition or SlideRIG Compact Deluxe Mk2 that is no longer in warranty. Can you still repair it?

Yes. We offer repair services on all current and discontinued products. In the rare instances we can’t repair an out-of-warranty pedal, or the repair is uneconomical, we will aim to provide a replacement or upgrade path (at the discretion of Origin Effects).
