Our highly experienced team of techs and engineers are on hand for any technical questions you may have including tone queries, setup puzzles, cable conundrums, EQ enigmas, pedal chain challenges and of course the infamous, “Ah! I didn’t plug it in at the wall!” moments.

We have invested our time, passion, and skills into these pedals and as long as your pedal is part of your signal path we will help you look after it however we can.

About the Origin Effects 2-Year Warranty

At Origin Effects we want you to have a long, happy relationship with your pedal, so we offer a comprehensive, no-quibble 2-year warranty from your date of purchase.

If your pedal was purchased from a dealer you must contact the dealer in question who will arrange for the pedal’s return and repair.

If the pedal was purchased directly from origineffects.com you can log your repair issue by filling in and submitting the Returns Request form at the bottom of this page.

Our warranty does not cover shipping costs – the customer holds responsibility for courier arrangements.

Under no circumstances should you send back your pedal before we have confirmed that it meets the terms of our warranty.

So what is covered by your Origin Effects warranty?

  • All parts and components (excluding footswitches)
  • Non wear-and-tear enclosure faults
  • Sound and tone faults

What is not covered?

  • Fair wear-and-tear; including finishing and paintwork damage
  • Faults resulting from using incorrect power supplies
  • Damage occurred from misuse or incorrect use
  • Liquid damage including but not limited to beer, tea, vodka and/or gig sweat.
  • The loss/theft of your pedal (especially them Cali76-TX-G-Ps – they are like gold dust!)
  • The loss of your pedal due to shipping via non-recorded delivery.

In the event of a return one of our highly trained technicians will do a full assessment of the pedal upon its arrival at our head office. If we assess that the pedal’s fault is not covered by our warranty then we will contact you with an appropriate solution and a detailed quote for any potential cost that may occur from this. We will not carry out any work without your prior consent and we will always charge at a fair rate based on parts and time-scale.

Under our warranty policy, we will replace any item that is deemed irreparable or faulty beyond economical repair, provided its fault is covered under our warranty conditions. This is in accordance with our responsibilities as a manufacturer to provide a repair or replace warranty for any item that we produce. Under this warranty, we are obliged to replace any non-repairable, or beyond economical repair item, deemed faulty under warranty policy, with a replacement item of like for like specification, or as close to the specification of that product as possible should a like for like product not be available.

This warranty does not affect your statutory consumer rights.
