We are excited to announce the new Cali76 Stacked Compressor, which packs our highly acclaimed dual-stage compressor circuitry into a new smaller enclosure, featuring some of the same upgrades as last year’s Cali76 FET Compressor and Cali76 Bass Compressor models.
Unlike our other more strait-laced compressors, the Cali76 Stacked Compressor is aimed specifically at players who like to use compression as a stand-out effect. It serves up super-squashed funk tones, clean sounds that never get lost in a mix, and so much sustain that you don’t even need a drive pedal for singing leads – this makes it perfect for slide players too!
Those who are familiar with our previous dual-stage compressors will recognise the two Cali76 compressor stages connected in series, each with its own set of controls, giving you full command of the extreme compression on tap. To balance out the ludicrous amounts of compression on offer, there’s a DRY control for achieving parallel compression, adding some of your guitar’s natural dynamics back into the mix.
