Readers’ Pedalboards #7 Electrics, Steels, and Pedals

A Pedal Board Designed For Both Electric & Steel Guitar

We got tagged on our Facebook Page by Luke Cyrus Goetze who had made this video of his superb lap steel skills using our Cali76-CD. We were so impressed with Luke’s tone that we contacted him for details on his rig and fortunately he replied with a photo and lots of information!Signal chain:
-> Moog MF Chorus
-> Origin Effects Cali76-CD
-> JHS Moonshine
-> JHS Muffuletta
-> Fulltone OCD
-> Strymon Riverside
-> Lehle Mono Volume
-> Strymon Timeline
-> Strymon Flint

I’m powering the board with a Strymon Zuma, which gives me the great opportunity to run the Cali76 and the OCD on 18 volts. I switched out the Lava cables for Evidence Audio SIS patch cables. Pricey, but a joy to put together, and apparently they’re very failsafe.

I then either go into a Fender ’64 Vibroverb Custom (15 inch speaker), or a Fender Princeton that I modded with a 12 inch Celestion Greenback. I usually go for the Princeton, because most of my bands thankfully have a very moderate stage volume.The guitars are:
Steels:
-Duesenberg Fairytale, with an added Lollar Supro Replica pickup
-1949 Oahu Diana
-1954 Supro Lap Steel (I’m not sure if that one has a name)

Guitars:
-1966 Epiphone Riviera (If I got to keep only one, that would be it)
-1964 Fender Jaguar
-1957 Danelectro U2
-Fender Custom Shop 1960 Strat
-Fender Road Worn Telecaster with added Mastery Bridge and Kloppmann Pickups (Really gives the expensive Strat a hard time :))
I have a few more that live in the studio, but those 5 are the ones that come out the most.

Heimatsound Festival tonight!!

And here are some of my bands, you probably won’t know any of them. Most of them have lyrics in German, I think as an American living in Germany I can’t stand singers singing in English with a German accent :)

All the best, and cheers for reaching out!
